A PRAYERFUL WALK IN THE WOODS
The Environmental Stewardship Ministry of the Diocese of Worcester is prayerfully with you in spirit as we experience the most unusual summer of our lives. This Ministry is planning some activities to celebrate the Season of Creation (September 1 to October 4) during which we can share time in prayer, hopefully in person, with appropriate social distance.
In spite of the unusual circumstances of these summer months, we strongly urge you to take time to enjoy God’s creation with outdoor walks, hikes, and/or biking. The Worcester County area is blessed to have many locations where families and other small groups can safely experience the joy of experiencing nature.

WHAT DO I DO DURING A HOLY HOUR?
A holy hour is an exercise of love, not a project to be accomplished.
You can say the Rosary, read a spiritual book, read some prayers, listen to contemplative music, or you can just do nothing and simply rest with the Lord.
What happens as we contemplate the presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament?
When we contemplate Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament we are given the opportunity to thank him for his passion, death, and glorious resurrection, the marvelous saving act that brought about our redemption. Christ draws near to us, more intimate with us than we are with ourselves. He strengthens our share in his divine life, the life that transforms us into his likeness and, in the Spirit, he gives us access to the Father.

Join the Cemetery Committee here
The Cemetery Committee is looking for volunteers to assist in the renovation of the cemetery grounds. This would include; cleaning of headstones, removal of grubs, insects and weeds as well as the seeding of drought-resistant grass seed, and the long term care of the grounds.
We will provide training on cleaning both marble and granite headstones.
Please let us know if you are willing to participate in this labor of love, and help make the Saint Denis cemetery a beautiful place to visit.
